Christmas card brief

For the College Christmas card i decided to stay away from digital designs as i am far happier creating by hand.To incorporate the Stockport theme i sketched some local landmark in red on white to create a Stockport Toile pattern ,The historical Toile de Jouy is a design i have been looking at in my critical studies essay so it seemed appropriate.From the initial design i feel these two examples are the most successful.
